Volleyball Skills: Blocking 201

Here's why I like this shot...in amateur and recreation volleyball, players who are at the net usually turn around and watch their server serve the ball...completely ignoring what is going on with their opponents across the net.
Here's a perfect example ...college of course but nonetheless....of what should be happening when your team is serving the ball.
Your front row blockers should be looking at what is going on with the opposing team and deciding on who is going to block which opposing hitters and calling out what play they think the opposing team is going to run..
You don't need to watch your server serve the ball...watch what's going on across the net ...and talk about it. Great shot.
