Volleyball Voices challenges all volleyball players to eat 5 servings of fruit and vegetables a day

For 2008 Volleyball Voices challenges all volleyball players to eat 5 servings of fruit.

Why? Because the difference between a good athlete and a great athlete is their nutrition.

To improve the nutritional habits of female volleyball players of all ages Volleyball Voices will be providing regular articles, interviews and information about how fruit and vegetables help to improve a player's athletic performance and mental and physical well-being, in addition to suggesting options on how to enjoy different fruit and vegetable superfoods!

Additionally, Volleyball Voices has created the Volleyball Voices Chariteeshirt Shop to help promote charitable giving among the female volleyball community.

The Volleyball Voices Chariteeshirt collection will be designed to promote better eating choices and to encourage athletes to increase the amount of fruits and vegetables they consume on a daily basis.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of ALL FRONT YOUR FRUIT tshirts will be donated to one of the following charities:

The Ashlyn Dyer Traumatic Brain Injury Foundation
The Denver Foundation
Women's Sports Foundation

Also our goal is to create four $2000 Volleyball Voices scholarships by December 2008 to award to four deserving female volleyball athletes.
