FIVB offers volleyball coaching to Pakistanis
PVF to organize FIVB volleyball coaches course from April 7
ISLAMABAD: Aiming to improve the abilities and techniques of volleyball coaches, Federation International de Volleyball (FIVB)-VCP coaches course would be started in the federal capital from April 7 under the auspices of Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF).
The inaugural ceremony of the course would be held in Pakistan Sports Complex on April 7. Director General Pakistan Sports Board, Lt. Col (retd) Salauddin would be the chief guest on the occasion.
According to Secretary PVF, Major (retd) Muhammad Afzal, 15 to 20 coaches would participate in the eight day coaches course to be continued till April 14.
Instructor Federation International de Volleyball (FIVB), Vijay Paul who would be director of the course is reaching Islamabad today (Saturday).
The secretary PVF further told that Qazi Mushtaq Ahmed and Najma Anwar would be assistant and course organizer in the course from PVF while lectures related to basic technique, theory, practical and physical injury would be delivered during the course.
At the end of the course, successful coaches would be awarded certificates by FIVB.
