U.S. Sitting Men fail to qualify for Beijing

Brazil is just synonomous with volleyball.



The Brazilian men's volleyball team won first place in the World Cup and before they played so did the Brazilian women. But before the World Cup, the 2007 Parapan Games, this year in Brazil was the last Olympic qualifying opportunity for the US Men's Sitting volleyball team.





Of course who did they play in the gold medal match...Brazil. Unfortunately the team they managed to beat in three sets in two prior occasions got the best of them when it really counted and in front of their home crowd. This loss prevents the men's team from representing the US in the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing.
