Top 10 Olympic News article: Smile Wristbands

In summer Olympics news apparently the unveiling of the Olympic wristbands helped increase the number of volunteers to over 700,000 (is that a typo?) interested in participating this year. 700,000 make up a nation, let alone come to volunteer…do you think that’s right?



This was reported as one of the top Olympic stories in 2007 according to the Beijing Olympic website. Check out the photos of the wristbands.







They are called Smile wristbands and each color, red, yellow, black, blue and green has a pretty significant meaning. Above check out another type of wristband that I found which I think will make most volleyball players smile, Zen style.
