The Olympic Qualification process has started on the 1st of January 2007 and will end on 20th July 2008. It will qualify the best Chinese team and 23 teams with the highest ranking in 8 Olympic Qualification Tournaments. A maximum of 2 teams per each country are eligible in the entry list. The Olympic Qualification Tournaments for Beach Volleyball are all the events of the SWATCH-FIVB World Tour and CEV Continental Championship Finals, recognized by FIVB. The drawing of lots for the Pools’ composition for the Beach Volleyball Olympic Games will take place in Gstaad, Switzerland, on 26th July 2008. A big event will take place on Saturday, during the ongoing Grand Slam.
