"I spent some time two years ago traveling in Australia and really enjoyed my experience," said the 24-year Juliana, who teams with Larissa Franca to form the top-ranked Beach Volleyball team on the international circuit for the past three seasons.
"In addition to enjoying several recreational activities in Queensland where I visited with Natalie Cook, I was impressed with the friendly nature of the Australian people," said Juliana, a two-time SWATCH FIVB World Championship medalist with Larissa.
"Everyone made me feel right at home and helped me develop my English skills. Unlike my Beach Volleyball trips, this visit was a real vacation and a tremendous learning experience for me."
