Had a great trip to the season opener at Fort Lauderdale. Hope was a good partner who was tough, confident and played well especiallly in the wind. 
We lost to Nicole Midwin and Jean Matthews who have played together the majority of last season while Hope and I practiced one time two weeks ago.
This was her first AVP tournament which I discovered about twenty minutes before we started to play. She was great and held her own. Personally for me it was a great trip to meet and greet and reacquaint with people I hadnt seen in awhile since I took all of last year off.
Saw alot of old teammmates and hopefuly met some new ones. I took this opportunity to tell players/coaches about my/this magazine and to invite them to participate. 
I will follow up with them with interview questions so everyone knows how and when to submit "their story" .
Very productive weekend even if I lost my voice dancing as opposed to playing. Danced all night..I dont remember the last time I danced so much. That was fun just to let go.

attended my first AVP Christian Fellowship Dinner, got alot of emails and made alot of contacts so Im very pleased.
